Park City, UT – The Park City Gallery Association is proud to announce, in cooperation with the Park City Summit County Arts Council (PCSCAC) and Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA), the first ever Virtual Gallery Stroll this Friday, April 24 starting at 6pm. Our galleries are complying with the Summit County health order for social distancing and limited public gatherings and remain closed to the public. But in the spirit of Park City’s resourcefulness and resilience, the association rose to the occasion, and found a way to offer art lovers a chance to view gallery offerings, learn about participating artists and enjoy our monthly Gallery Stroll… all from the comfort of their homes!

Thanks to Leslie Chavez, of Park City Summit County Arts Council, who suggested and organized the event, PCGA has been able to harness technology to keep our monthly Gallery Stroll available to the public. Galleries will be broadcasting live via Facebook showcasing the gallery artwork, interviews with artists and providing information for purchase and delivery of current artwork. Each gallery will be inviting viewers in fifteen-minute segments which will start at 6pm and run until 9:00pm. It will be an exciting and new experience for everyone — including the gallery owners!

And our partner in the event, the Park City Area Restaurant Association will provide a discount on their curbside pick-up menus. Park City residents can enjoy world-class art, paired with award-winning cuisine, right in the comfort of their own homes. “We’re excited to collaborate with the Park City Summit County Arts Council and the Park City Gallery Association and offer discounts at area restaurants during their first Virtual Gallery Stroll,” said PCARA Executive Director Ginger Wicks. “Our dining community is making every effort to continue serving our most loyal patrons.” The following restaurants will be offering discounts from 15 – 25% for guests who use the discount code: ARTS when placing orders during the event. So please take advantage of the offer and enjoy a meal while relaxing and taking in the event.
