Erik Gonzales, “Primary”; through February 25.
At the core of Erik Gonzales’ abstract paintings lie the concepts of line, form and color. In these paintings, layer upon layer is built up and at times removed to expose what once lay beneath. The evolution of his work is a sequential process where each painting builds upon the preceding one taking with it principal roots that thread the work together in a collective system.
